Nursery Yard Foreman
This position is critical to the care and maintenance of our container nursery stock. Duties include all phases of plant care, irrigation, and inventory of container nursery stock. Must be able to multi-task and perform physically demanding work. Attention to detail and ability to follow through on daily tasks are important. Knowledge of trees and shrubs and their care is helpful but can be learned on the job. This is a full-time seasonal position from April to November. Pay DOE.

Retail Yard Loader
This position is important to the daily function of our retail garden center. Position requires caring for and loading plant material, bulk product and rock for customers. Knowledge of skid steer and front end loader operations is preferred. The loader position is busy and always changing. The candidate is expected to work outside all day and being able to do physically demanding tasks, help customers and fellow garden center staff. Must be able to work on feet all day and lift up to 50 pounds. Saturdays required. Gardening or landscaping experience preferred but will train the right person.

Lawn Maintenance Foreman
Lead a lawn care crew this summer. Job duties include but not limited to using a walk-behind and/or zero turn mower, riding mower, weed-eating, using a backpack and/or handheld blower, leaf and debris removal.
This is a full-time seasonal position with the potential to become a year-round position with benefits. We offer competitive pay to experienced candidates. Must be able to work 40+ hours and the occasional weekend. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Excavation Foreman
Leading excavation crew requires attention to detail, organization and clear communication and leadership skills. This candidate needs a minimum of 5 years of experience and be able to read plans and execute job site duties from start to finish including leading a crew of laborers, equipment operators and pipelayers. The candidate should be familiar with all phases of site work including demolition, foundation excavation and backfill, all utility, sewer, water, storm and dry utility. Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Competitive pay will be offered to those with the best qualifications. This position will have the opportunity to grow into a year-round position with benefits.

Maintaining our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment is vital to our operations. This busy position requires attention to detail, multi-tasking and experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance.

Truck Driver
Delivering landscaping materials to our job sites is a vital function of the MD landscaping team. This is a full-time seasonal position from April- November. The candidate is required to have a valid CDL and experience driving semis and dump trucks around the region.

Irrigation Technician

Work outside all summer. This entry-level position is an excellent way to gain experience in the trade. Long hours can lead to opportunities for overtime pay. We are can train those with a willingness to learn and who aren't afraid of hard work. Clean driving record necessary. This position has the potential to lead to year-round employment.

Equipment Operator
Be part of the team in our excavation division. Experienced heavy equipment operator.
Pay DOE. The position has the potential to grow into a year-round job with benefits.

Gravel Pit Operator
Experienced loader operator for a gravel pit.
